We manage a small development on behalf of the residents of 72 owner/occupier flats built in the 1970's with flat roofs. In the past we have experienced shoddy workmanship, unreliability, dangerous practices, mess and poor communication. As you can imagine, we have had our fingers burnt a couple of times.
It was like a breathe of fresh air when we contacted Richard at 1st Choice Roofing to quote for some remedial works. He was punctual, polite, honest, thorough and professional. He gave us a detailed written quote with a great price. His communication skills are excellent and his team arrived punctually. They were courteous, tidy, cleaned up each evening and left the site clean at the end of the job. They used high quality materials throughout and Richard made regular inspections to check he was happy with their work. They certainly went the "extra mile" and gave great customer service.
We have used them several times now and would recommend them highly.

We have used Richard and his team at A1 roofing for a couple of jobs now , firstly a flat roof over the utility room and then , because of their good workmanship, we had them back to do our main roof
On both occasions the work was carried out professionally, speedily ( no popping off to other jobs !! ) with great courtesy and and at a very fair price

Our old flat roof was an absolute mess, leaking badly and had rotten boards and beams. Rich and his team delivered a friendly and brilliant service, removing all the old felt and wooden structures and fully replacing them in three days.
